STRINGHALT MIX
A comprehensive & considered mix of premium herbs formulated for horses to assist in eliminating toxins from the body, assist in the repair of the nervous system, assisting with muscle pain & repair, cleanse & protect the liver. This herbal mix is rich in vitamins, minerals, trace elements, omegas, and more.
It is vital that you remove the horse from the pasture containing the weed which causes stringhalt. This weed is known as Capeweed, False Dandelion, Catsear & Flatweed. The toxins from the weed affect the horse’s nervous system which results in an exaggerated high stepping action in one or both hind legs when walking forward and/or backing up.
DOSAGE – Maintenance dose per day
Horses – (500kg) – 3-5 scoops per day – (90-150 grams)
Ponies – (250kg) – 1-3 scoops per day (30-90 grams)
(Scoop provided = 30 gram dose)
Preferably, steep herbs in hot water for 10 mins and then mix herbs & liquid into the hard feed. If hot water is unavailable, steep in cold water for 20 mins.
Storage – Keep bag securely sealed or store in an airtight container.
